इंडियन आर्मी TGC म्हणजे काय?

“इंडियन आर्मी TGC” म्हणजेच Technical Graduate Course. ही एक अशी संधी आहे जिथे इंजिनीअरिंग शिकलेले तरुण थेट भारतीय सैन्यात अधिकारी होऊ शकतात. ही नोकरी केवळ पगारासाठी नाही, तर देशसेवेच्या तेजाने झळकणारी असते. इथे गणित, विज्ञान, आणि तांत्रिक ज्ञान हे रणभूमीवर उपयोगात येते!

ह्या कोर्सची खरी गरज काय आहे?

भारतासारख्या प्रगत होत असलेल्या देशासाठी आजच्या युद्धं केवळ तलवारी, बंदुका आणि रणगाडे वापरून जिंकता येत नाहीत. आधुनिक युद्धं आता टेक्नॉलॉजीवर चालतात – ड्रोन, सायबर सुरक्षा, मिसाईल प्रणाली, सिग्नलिंग, रडार इत्यादी. त्यामुळे सैन्याला अशा इंजिनीअर अधिकाऱ्यांची गरज असते जे युद्धातील प्रत्येक यंत्र आणि प्रणाली चालवू शकतील, सुधारू शकतील आणि नवीन तयार करू शकतील.

कोण पात्र आहे?

फक्त पुरुष (TGC सध्या फक्त पुरुषांसाठी आहे. महिलांसाठी SSC Tech आहे).
BE/B.Tech पूर्ण केलेलं असावं – सिव्हिल, मेकॅनिकल, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स, कॉम्प्युटर सायन्स वगैरे शाखा चालतात.
वय 20 ते 27 वर्षं दरम्यान असले पाहिजे.
कोणताही 10वी-12वीचा कटऑफ नाही, पण अंतिम वर्षात फर्स्ट क्लास असणे फायदेशीर ठरते.

निवड कशी होते?

परीक्षा नाही.
तुम्ही अर्ज करता, आर्मी तुमच्या गुणांवर (BE/B.Tech) आधारित एक शॉर्टलिस्ट बनवते.
शॉर्टलिस्ट झाल्यावर SSB Interview (5 दिवसांचं टेस्टिंग) – इथे तुमचं मानसिक, शारीरिक, आणि नेतृत्वाचं मूल्यांकन केलं जातं.
इंटरव्ह्यू उत्तीर्ण झाल्यावर मेडिकल टेस्ट होते.
सगळं क्लिअर झालं की, तुम्ही Indian Military Academy (IMA), देहरादून येथे ट्रेनिंगसाठी जाता.

ट्रेनिंग कशी असते?

1 वर्षाची ट्रेनिंग – सकाळी 4 पासून सुरुवात, शरीराला आणि मनाला लष्करी शिस्त लावणं हे मुख्य उद्दिष्ट.
जंगल युद्ध, बंदूक हाताळणी, शिस्त, नेतृत्व, तांत्रिक प्रशिक्षण सगळं शिकवलं जातं.
ट्रेनिंग पूर्ण केल्यावर तुम्हाला लेफ्टनंट (Lieutenant) पदावर नियुक्त केलं जातं.

पगार व इतर फायदे:

सुरुवातीला पगार ₹56,100/- पासून सुरु होतो (लेफ्टनंट पदाचा बेसिक पगार).
त्यासोबत DA, MSP, आणि विविध भत्ते मिळतात – एकूण ₹80,000 ते ₹1,00,000 पर्यंत मिळू शकतो.
मोफत राहणं, जेवण, वैद्यकीय सेवा, मुलांच्या शिक्षणाची सवलत, निवृत्तीवेतन – हे सगळं आयुष्यभरासाठी मिळतं.

TGC म्हणजे केवळ एक नोकरी नाही…

ही एक जीवनशैली आहे. इथे मिळणाऱ्या यशापेक्षा मिळणाऱ्या सन्मानाची किंमत खूप मोठी आहे. सिव्हिल इंजिनीअरिंग शिकलेला तरुण पुलं बनवतो, पण TGC मधला सिव्हिल इंजिनीअर रणभूमीवर 3 तासांत सैनिकांसाठी पूल उभारतो! हेच त्या पदाचं खरे वेगळेपण आहे.

What is Indian Army TGC?

TGC stands for Technical Graduate Course. This is a special entry scheme for engineering graduates who want to join the Indian Army as officers. It’s not just a job – it’s a chance to serve the nation using your technical knowledge.

Why does the Army need engineers?

Who can apply?

Only male candidates can apply for TGC (female candidates can apply through SSC Tech).

What is the selection process?

No written exam.
You apply online, and the Army shortlists candidates based on engineering marks.
Shortlisted candidates are called for a 5-day SSB interview – this tests your personality, leadership, and mental/physical ability.
If you pass the interview, you go through a medical test.
If everything is clear, you get selected for training at Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun.

How is the training?

1 year of training at IMA.
It starts early in the morning (around 4 AM) and includes physical training, weapons training, military discipline, leadership, and technical lessons.
After successful training, you are posted as a Lieutenant in the Indian Army.

What about salary and benefits?

Starting basic pay is ₹56,100 per month (as a Lieutenant).
With all allowances and benefits, monthly salary can go up to ₹80,000–₹1,00,000.
